The colorectal cancer mortality rate in Charles County is higher than the Maryland state average. On Wednesday, March 14th at 6:30 p.m., the Civista Health Cancer Program will present a community education forum with a panel of experts in colorectal cancer screening, detection, and treatment.
Participating experts include:
- Dr. Boris Naydich, Radiation Oncologist, Chesapeake Potomac Regional Cancer Center
- Dr. Krishan Mathur, Oncologist & Hematologist, Cambridge Oncology Center
- Dr. Joel Sewchand, Gastroenterologist
They will discuss the risk factors, latest technologies, and screening recommendations.
