Recent NewsCIVISTA AUXILIARY WELCOMES VOLUNTEERS The Civista Health Auxiliary has a variety of new opportunities to offer volunteers who may be interested in joining the organization. With the impending opening of the new gift shop at Civista Medical Center as well as new and renovated departments, the Auxiliary is expanding its volunteer force while energizing the existing membership. The Auxiliary has provided continuous service to the medical center for almost 70 years, even before the original hospital building opened in 1939. Men and women volunteers provide services and raise funds for equipment for Civista. The not for profit Auxiliary also funds health career scholarships to high school students and Civista employees. The volunteers assist patients, visitors and staff and provide comfort items to pediatric patients. In addition they participate in many Civista events and host holiday and volunteer recognition events each year. You may contact the Civista Health Auxiliary at 301-609-4129 to arrange
