Our classes will prepare you and your support person for a safe and
happy birthing experience. Our class includes breathing, relaxation
techniques, comfort measures, medications, hospital procedures, stages
of labor, vaginal and cesarean deliveries and after delivery mother and
infant care. Our instructors will also address complications that may
arise during your pregnancy and labor. Teaching methods vary, with a
combination of lecture, hands-on training and video. A tour of the
Family Birthing Center is included. Please bring a snack with you. Please bring a blanket and 2 pillows with you to class. Call early, these classes fill
quickly. This class is not suitable for young children.
