Crabby at Civista’s 15th Annual ‘When The Hammer Falls’ Crab Feast La Plata, MD — Are you craving the taste of good southern Maryland blue crabs? As the season nears a close Civista’s Annual “When the Hammer Falls” Crab Feast on October 29, from 2-8:30 p.m. at Captain Billy’s may be many people’s last opportunity. Now in its 15th year, the feast and festivities at the Civista annual crab feast have become something of a Southern Maryland tradition. Community members from across the area come together to taste the incredible platters and all-you-can-eat crabs and enjoy door prizes, raffles and the famed cake wheel.
