Head and Shoulder Commissioned Portrait

Always wanted to have a commissioned portrait done of you or a loved one? Now is your opportunity! Nicole Stewart, one of southern Maryland’s premiere artists, will meet with you to discuss poses, clothes, and backgrounds. Once a final pose is selected a color study is painted (NOTE: this usually takes one to two hours). Final portraits are approximately 20" x 24" and come with a simple lath frame ready to hang.

CONDITIONS of SALE for SILENT AUCTION ITEMS
All net proceed of the sale of silent auction items will go to support Civista Medical Center, a 501(c)3 organization. Each item carries an estimated market value obtained from reliable sources, but no representation of warranty as to the actual resale value of any item auctioned is made or implied. The estimated value is intended as a guide to assist you in your bidding. No item will be sold at a price below the opening bid.

All bidders must use their designated bidding number to place any bids. Bidding is closed out at the event promptly at 7:45 p.m. Opening bids are indicated on the bidding form the evening of the event for each piece. Minimum increments to raise bids are set as follows: Current bid- Minimum Increment
Under $100 - $15
$100-$200 - $25
$200-$2,000 -$50
$2,001-$4,999 -$100

The bidder who has placed the highest bid at the close of the auction gets to purchase the piece.

Payment: Cash, checks, Master Card, Visa, and American Express are accepted as payment.

Pick Up and Delivery: Purchasers are required to pay for and take their purchases home with them that same night. All items not removed on the night of the benefit may be picked up at the Civista Health Foundation by calling 301-609-4132. If you require having your item shipped to you, we will do so at your expense. We are not responsible for damage to items during transit.

Certificates: All certificates for golf outings, trips and special events are bound by the terms listed on the certificates. The foundation assumes no responsibility for missed dates, lost certificates orscheduling conflicts. Each winner must follow instructions outlined on the certificates.

Tax Laws: A buyer is entitled to a tax deduction on purchase of artwork only to the extent that his or her payment exceeds the market value of the work received.

Please note the buyer is purchasing the item "as is." All sales are final and considered to be a legal contract between the buyer and Civista Health Foundation. Civista reserves the right to return items to the donor if it is unclaimed by the buyer 6 months after the date of the benefit, even if the item has been paid for.
