Civista Health is proud to once again sponsor the Survivor’s Reception, A Celebration of Life, and kick-off for the annual  Relay for Life of Charles County. The Survivor’s Reception will be held on May 11, from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Regency Furniture Stadium.

Your reasons for walking in the Relay for Life are as unique and special as you are. This is your opportunity to not only honor cancer survivors and remember those we have lost, but also to raise funds and awareness to help save lives. With your support, we are helping to create a world where cancer cannot claim another life—a world with less cancer and more birthdays!

Survivor Reception: 4:30 p.m.
Opening Ceremony: 6 p.m.
Survivor Lap: 6 p.m.
Luminaria Ceremony: 9 p.m.
Fight Back: Midnight
Closing Ceremony: 6 a.m.

And the Relay for Life this Friday night, June 17th, at Regency Furniture Stadium is sure to be a hit too!

Civista Health has been a proud sponsor of the Charles County Relay for Life for 15 years. In addition to walking with the Sherry’s Angels team, Civista Health employees will host a special table at the Relay for Life, offering health education and class information.

Teams of people including cancer survivors take turns walking or running, but most of all, having fun while raising much-needed funds to fight cancer and raise awareness of cancer prevention and treatment. This is a great opportunity for those who have been recently diagnosed with cancer to meet and interact with survivors. But no matter who you are, there’s a place for you at the Civista Relay for Life!
