Each year the Maryland Work-Life Alliance recognizes excellent places to work throughout the state of Maryland, and Civista was one of only 67 organizations in the entire state to receive these prestigious awards.

Civista Health received the Workplace Excellence and Health & Wellness Trailblazer Award for the 6th consecutive year, and this year we also received the EcoLeadership Award, which recognizes visionary employers that are paving the way for environmentally sustainable workplaces.

The Workplace Excellence and Health & Wellness Trailblazer Awards celebrate businesses that promote professional fulfillment and personal wellness at work, at home, and in the community.  And the EcoLeadership Award honors companies that recognize the importance of environmental sustainability by demonstrating commitment to the following green practices categories:  Waste Minimization, Energy Demand and Supply, Water Conservation, Toxic and Hazardous Substances/Pollution Prevention, and more.
